Before and After Care

Please follow these instructions carefully to avoid any complications.

Ø DO NOT work out the day of the procedure.

Ø DO NOT tan or have sunburned face.

Ø DO NOT take any Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E or Ibuprofen 24hrs before procedure.

Ø No alcohol or caffeine on the day of the procedure.

Ø No waxing or tinting 3 days before.

Ø Please note that you will be more sensitive during your menstrual cycle.

Ø First day (dry, normal skin): Rinse the eyebrows with warm water and neutral soap, without stretching the skin. Circle gently on the eyebrows until clean skin is felt under the fingertips. After rinsing you can use Vaseline, or any type of Pantenol, Jecoderm. The first process of rinsing and application should be done half an hour after the treatment. During the day this process should be repeated 4-5 times. After the last rinsing, before going to sleep over the prepared eyebrows, place transparent folio and fixate with a kerchief, sleeping mask, hairband, etc.

Ø First day (oily skin): Rinse like with regular skin, but avoid oily creams such as Vaseline, Jecoderm or Pantenol. We recommend Pantenol emulsion, cream or gel. Gel with vitamin A D can also be used. Rinsing and application is repeated also 4-5 times during the first day and this completes the post-treatment process for oily skin.

Ø Next 5 days apply a thin film without rinsing and without putting foil.

Ø Next 5 days apply a thin film without rinsing and without putting foil.

Ø Avoid 2-3 weeks after the treatment applying of powder, makeup, cream with active ingredients over the eyebrows, bathing in public water, strong exercise with profuse sweating, sauna, solarium, etc.

Eyebrows will appear darker and bolder due to natural scabbing and healing for the first 10 days. This is very common for all permanent cosmetic procedures.

Permanent makeup IS NOT recommended for any clients who are or have:

Ø Pregnant or nursing

Ø Diabetic

Ø Undergoing Chemotherapy (consult your doctor)

Ø Viral infection and/ or diseases

Ø Epilepsy

Ø A Pacemaker or major heart problems

Ø Had an Organ transplant

Ø Skin irritations or Psoriasis near treated area (rashes, sunburn, acne, etc.…)

Ø Sick (cold, flu, etc.…)

Ø Had Botox in the past 2 months

Ø Used Accutane in the past year

Color will fade/soften anywhere from 40% to 60%. At the touch up we will fine tune any area that has faded too much. Healing is specific to each client. It is important to realize that you will need a color boost every 1-2 years to maintain its fresh natural appearance. Fading will happen after each procedure. We do not have control over your bodies healing process. You may need to powder and /or pencil even after the healed results. This is an enhancement to your natural brows not a permanent one.

If they fade more that you like, it is ok pencil or powder until your scheduled appt. This is an enhancement and will NEVER BE A PERMANENT SOLUTION.

Permanent Makeup is an art, Not a science. Client’s results will vary and using a pencil or powder may still be needed. We have no control over your bodies healing process and each time a procedure is done, the pigment will have less retention due to scar tissue.

Remember, No Water on them, Sun, Sweating, Exercise or exertion of any kind prior to the procedure or after the procedure for 10 days. NO SUN 30 DAYS PRIOR & 30 DAYS AFTER THE PROCEDURE. 1 DAY WILL RUIN THE RESULTS IF YOU DO NOT FOLLOW THE 10 DAY AFTER CARE PROTOCOL.

Do Not work out the day of the procedure as the body heat expands the pores. It is recommended not to sweat (heavily) for the first 10-14 days after the procedure. Sweat is salt and will prematurely fade, blur or cause the pigment not to take at all.

Avoid direct shower water on the treated area after the procedure. Apply the product given to you prior to showering to prevent soaps and shampoos from getting on the treated area, and then gently wipe it off. Absolutely NOTHING on the treated area… NO Hot Water, No Makeup, Lotions, Pencil….etc. for 10 to 14 days, AVOID SCRUBBING the treated area for at least 1 month.
